Voxtel concentrates on the development and production of CMOS imagers characterized by large numbers of pixels, high sensitivity, large detector area, high frame rates, and high dynamic range. Our active pixel sensors are based on innovative design approaches realized in advanced CMOS processing technologies, and offer higher performance and increased radiation tolerance. The CMOS imagers are applicable to micro-star and feature trackers, as well as other science, high-energy physics, and defense spacecraft instrumentation.Practically all terrestrial high radiation environments needing video monitoring benefit from a radiation-hard imaging array. These include a wide range of medical imaging and diagnostic systems, cameras for nuclear power plants, and radiation waste management operations. A significant part of our CMOS Imager business is the design and production of customized image sensors. Voxtel will deliver custom image sensors according to the agreed specification and planning. Our high performance CMOS imagers are designed for both quality and yield, based on a continuous dialogue with the end-user of the CMOS image sensor. Their production makes optimal use of existing CMOS processingtechnologies, with attention to specialized packaging needs.
