Voxtel’s low-noise, highly responsive InGaAs and Si detectors are available in a variety of package formats, including TE-cooled TO-8 packages, uncooled TO packages, and bare die.

Voxtel offers InGaAs avalanche photodiodes (APDs), InGaAs single carrier multiplication APDs (SCM-APDs), and Si photomultiplier arrays (SiPMs).

APD Array Capability

Voxtel offers detector array and focal plane array (FPA) development services to system integrators, based upon customization of existing detector and readout integrated circuit (ROIC) platforms. InGaAs APD arrays of variable format and pixel pitch can be produced from either Siletz or BSI Deschutes APD material; typical dimensions are 128 × 128 format on a 36-µm pitch.
APD arrays are offered as bare die, die submounted to ceramic carriers, and as FPAs. Complementary ROIC platforms for passive imaging, range-gated imaging, direct detection flash LADAR, and waveform recording direct detection LIDAR are available for customization. Camera control electronics suitable for laboratory benchtop testing of FPA prototypes are offered.
Please note that military infrared FPAs and components thereof are identified by the United States Munitions List (Part 121; Title 22, CFR) as being subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and cannot be sold to non-US customers without an export license.
